raza just finished Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
"I played AC Brotherhood when I was obsessed with the series. I happened to be in second year of undergrad so I clearly didn’t have anything better to do. AC2 was such a high for me so naturally this game had a high bar to clear. It got close but it wasn’t as engaging for me as its predecessor. It was a lot of the same mechanics with minor upgrades in stealth and other gameplay features. The story progressed well. Overall, I would recommend this if you want more of Assassin’s Creed 2 and how Ezio’s life continues"

raza just finished Ghost of Yotei
"This isn’t a strong 5/5 for me but it’s more than a 4/5. Ghost of Yotei is a stunning game and the opening captured my attention immediately. The graphics, visual design, and cinematic angles were excellent and I felt like I was playing a movie most of the time."

raza just finished Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
"A fun adventure. The strongest of the Uncharted series for me. The train sequence is iconic for this franchise. Going through the story was enjoyable as well. I just can’t get over how Nathan Drake physically does the things he does as a standard human being. How does he fall from a height of 5 stories, roll around a little, and get back on his feet? If Kratos did it, I would understand. Is Nate an alien or supernatural? If so, that’s fine. Otherwise, these sorts of moments took me out of the game."

raza just finished God of War Ragnarök
"Overall this game is very strong. It doesn’t give the same feeling of playing a masterpiece immediately like it’s prequel, but it refines almost every mechanic from the first game. It starts of strong and the story does its best to maintain momentum, although I felt myself losing motivation to continue during the middle of the game. The story picks back up though and the introduction of new gameplay mechanics keep things interesting."

raza just finished God of War
"This game is a masterpiece. In modern gaming, it’s my favorite game. The story, gameplay, combat, platforming, level design, NPCs are all top notch. I still remember all the story beats, wandering around the levels for fun, and the satisfying “thwack” of the axe each time you recall it. I also remember fighting and losing to the post game boss for a day and a half straight before I finally won and got the Platinum."

raza just finished Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
"I didn’t play Uncharted right away but even at the time, it seemed like a big step forward in gaming technology. You could run in water! Fun linear game and story. Not a major time commitment. I would recommend picking up the remaster if you’re thinking of playing."

teddibby just finished The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
"Skyrim has been my favorite game my entire life, and nothing has ever come close. The open world, exploration, the sheer freedom, the one-shotting Alduin because you did side quests before you remembered there are main quests, make every playthrough feel like its own adventure. There’s something incredibly nostalgic and special about being able to step into this world and become whoever you want to be."

raza just finished Assassin's Creed II
"This game defines Assassin’s Creed for me. A major step up from the original, it refined everything the original did: stealth, combat, traversal, characters and intrigue, and a compelling if somewhat silly plot."

tckatfish just finished Legends of Runeterra
"A fun game in its early infancy, it took a nosedive as it tried to expand too fast for its own good. A system that was simple and easy to get into turned into a disaster of decisions from the balance team. The game changed to where there are seasons implemented and only half of the cards are available in any given season at random. Meaning if you don't plan to spend any money, you can spend your entire season trying to build a deck that you won't be able to use in the next season. I was able to become top 20 in NA in this game and attended a few Runeterra tournaments, I had never spent any money on the game and that was such a bonus and a testament to why this game was different to other tabletop card games out there. But alas it changed to try and get to that "next big thing" and became a pay to play game."

tckatfish just finished Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
"One of the Big 3 of the 2010 era. This game has a special place in my heart and forever will be in my eyes one of my favorite games of all time. Something I felt that couldn't be replicated among the rest of the Call of Duty games was the simplicity of it all. The gamemodes, gameplay, killstreaks, maps, guns; it was all just so simple but it worked so well."
